Splendido Chef's Dinner

CHEF – OWNER BRIAN ACKERMAN AND SPLENDIDO TEAM ARE MAKING FUTURES BRIGHT

Bright Future Foundation is thrilled to have the support and partnership of Splendido at the Chateau at Beaver Creek. Chef Brian and his team have been longtime friends of Bright Future Foundation and this year they are hosting a Chef’s Dinner as their way of giving back to Eagle County. Philanthropists, foodies, locals, friends, and tourists alike join for a special event benefitting survivors and their families in Eagle County.

An evening at Splendido offers exquisite service and inspired dining, and it’s impossible to ignore that it all takes place within an idyllic chateau beside Beaver Creek mountain. This fine dining restaurant has a dream setting for that once-in-a-lifetime experience, yet people continue to return time after time for the Splendido they know and love.

The evening festivities will include a live auction, with travel packages that will give you wanderlust! Please check back as we confirm these packages.

Event to benefit our Behavioral Health program

At Bright Future Foundation, trauma-focused behavioral health services are available for individuals and families affected by domestic violence, sexual violence, trafficking, and stalking at no cost, thereby decreasing significant barriers to high-quality care in our rural community. To meet the needs of our community, services are available in both Spanish and English. These services deliver the psychological tools necessary to process trauma and facilitate healing that ultimately leads to self-sustainability.

In 2021 and 2022, Bright Future Foundation increased the agency’s behavioral health service capacity by doubling our number of clinicians. We employ a full-time clinical psychologist and have a full-time clinical psychology postdoctoral fellow plus 2 full-time doctoral interns through the Colorado Psychological Internship Consortium (CO-PIC), a training program for doctoral students in their final year of education. Psychology trainees at Bright Future Foundation provide critical mental health services to survivors, while gaining valuable experience working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Our focus on expanding Bright Future Foundation’s behavioral health services resulted in over a 100% increase in mental health sessions for survivors from August 2021- July 2022 when compared to the previous year. Mission Impact: 96% of our clients who engaged in behavioral health therapy for three months or more showed a decrease in trauma, anxiety, and depressive symptoms.
