Thank you to Dewey Dabbles for hosting a Buddy Mentors event in March. About 30 Junior and Senior Buddies showed up to fuse decorative mosaic plates and eat pizza.
Buddy Mentors offers at least two buddy activities each month: a potluck and another community activity. This March, along with the potluck and Dewey Dabbles Art, Buddy Mentors will also have a snowshoe day at McCoy Park in Beaver Creek, donated by Vail Resorts as part of a partnership between Vail Resorts Epic Promise and Buddy Mentors.
Buddy Mentors of Bright Future Foundation offers one-on-one community mentoring. Adult volunteers (Senior Buddies) agree to meet with a local youth two to four times a month, for at least a year.
