Overcoming Obstacles: A Guide to Collaborative Parenting

This 3-hour seminar, focusing on parenting through divorce, is offered monthly. The class fulfills the requirement set forth by the 5th Judicial District.

Pre-registration is required.

The curriculum’s goal is to:

  • Develop healthy, positive communication skills,
  • Develop healthy dispute resolution skills,
  • Increase ability to engage in collaborative parenting strategies,
  • Increase understanding of how behavior, communication, and conflict affects children, and
  • Increase understanding of the impact of divorce, family restructuring, and judicial proceedings on children.

Helpful tips for attendees:

We suggest bringing a water bottle for hydration. You may also wish to bring a pen or pad for any notes.

Please note: Bright Future Foundation is unable to provide daycare. Please do not bring children or pets to class. Also, if your arrival is delayed by more than 15 minutes after the start of class, you will not be admitted and will need to reschedule.
