Junior and senior buddies from the Buddy Mentors Program played in the snow at McCoy Park on Beaver Creek for the March Buddy Mentors event. For most of the junior buddies, it was their first time on snowshoes, or the first time on the mountain or a ski lift.
The group visited the Beaver Creek Nordic Center for snowshoes, got a few pointers on safety from Nate Goldberg, the center’s director, and then visited the Candy Cabin at the top of the lift for a few treats before heading out on a snowshoe hike and picnic.
