We need you now more than ever!
2020 marks the 21st year for Bright Future Foundation’s Aces and Eagles Tournament. Due to COVID-19 public health protocols we have re-imagined the event in a way that players can still enjoy the stellar golf experience at Country Club of the Rockies in a safe manner. Aces will need to wait until 2021 as we will not be able to host tennis this year.
As a cherished sponsor, your banners will fly and holes will be prominently marked!
Instead of a shotgun start, foursomes will be assigned a tee time between 10:30 and 2:30. Carts will be ready and waiting upon your arrival with box lunches prepared by Vista. Stocked beverage coolers will be available at strategic locations on the course. No valet parking is available, so you are asked to arrive at the club as a foursome if possible. Please arrive an hour before your scheduled time if you would like to use the practice range.
At the completion of the round, players will return their score card to a designated spot and winners will be notified the next day. Unfortunately, due to Eagle County recommendations, no gathering or cocktail party will take place after the round. As in years past, we will have the same great prizes for the top three teams and ladies and men’s closest to the pin and longest drive.
We are excited to tell you that a significant part of our fundraising, the silent auction, will move to an online format. This will allow you real time opportunities to bid on the items of your choice. We really appreciate you support in raising the important funds needed!
We truly do need your support now more than ever! Since mid-March referrals to our hotline have increased by 20%, shelter utilization is up 25% and requests for housing assistance have seen an increase of 122%. As critical workers, our staff continue to provide crucial advocacy, counseling, housing, and legal assistance for the most vulnerable families in our community.
Things are a little different this year, so please feel free to reach out to Jen Rogus at 970-763-7204 or email her at jen@mybrightfuture.org with any questions.
Bright Future Foundation is enormously indebted to the board and staff of Country Club of the Rockies for their willingness to support Bright Future Foundation in these most difficult times.
