Celebrate Buddy Mentors

Our fun and popular Buddy Mentors Celebration returns on Thursday, June 29 at the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa! The party is free and open to the public as a recruitment event to garner both senior and junior buddies for the program. It’s a chance for the community to hear more about this critical and rewarding program in a fun, casual, no-pressure environment.

New this year is the recognition of three community supporters.  Yvonne Jacobs, Bright Future board member and senior buddy since 2011, is our Exemplary Senior Buddy. Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate is Outstanding Corporate Supporter. Cheryl Jensen is Friend of the Buddy Mentors Program for her continued support and organization of our annual Buddy Mentors holiday party.

Local rock group Renegade Sons returns to entertain the crowd, and the event includes free craft brews donated by Vail Brewing Company and Crazy Mountain Brewing Company, light appetizers and a cash bar. Attendees will have a chance to mingle with Buddy Mentors staff and current program participants.
